Leighton Contractors is creating safer drivers by offering FREE professional driving lessons to Queensland secondary state school students at 18 schools in Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Gold Coast, Townsville and, in 2011 for the first time, in Gladstone.

A driver’s licence signals freedom! But it comes with great responsibility too!
Leighton Contractors wants young drivers to get off to a good start by participating in the Leighton Contractors Youth Drive Safe Initiative. If you are a learner driver attending one of the participating schools, you could win one of 630 drive safe packages which gives you:
- 5 hours of FREE learner driver lessons
- high quality, professional driving training with RACQ Approved Driving Schools teaching:
- how to be responsible and have the right attitude when driving a vehicle
- the skills involved in driving a vehicle
- how to drive safely
- how to drive in a more environmentally friendly way
- an understanding of each driver's role in making our roads safe.
